Facial Mesotherapy and Biostimulators: Rejuvenation from Within

Learn how facial mesotherapy and biostimulators work from within to restore the quality and youthfulness of your skin in Bávaro.

What Is Facial Mesotherapy?

Facial mesotherapy involves microinjections of vitamin cocktails, amino acids, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, and other actives directly into the dermis. Unlike topical creams, the active ingredients reach exactly where the skin needs them.

At Med Luxe we formulate the cocktails according to each patient's specific needs: deep hydration, radiance, acne treatment, or aging prevention.

Collagen Biostimulators: The Next Level

Biostimulators (such as Sculptra or Radiesse) go a step further: instead of filling, they stimulate the body itself to produce new collagen. Their results are more gradual but more natural and longer-lasting (up to 2 years).

They are ideal for patients looking to improve the overall quality of their skin, restore diffusely lost volume, and prevent long-term aging without artificial-looking results.

When to Choose Mesotherapy vs Biostimulators?

Mesotherapy: Perfect for dehydrated, dull skin, active acne, or as preventive maintenance. Also excellent as a complement to other treatments. Visible results in 2-3 sessions.

Biostimulators: Indicated when there is diffuse loss of facial volume, moderate sagging, or the desire to improve the overall quality of the skin in a sustained way. They require patience: results mature over 2-3 months.

Protocol at Med Luxe

Facial mesotherapy is performed in 30-45 minute sessions with a topical anesthetic cream applied beforehand. The standard protocol is 4-6 monthly sessions followed by quarterly maintenance.

Given the climate of Bávaro, where sun exposure accelerates skin damage, many of my patients incorporate mesotherapy as part of their regular care routine. It is an investment, not an expense: healthy skin needs fewer corrections in the future.
